Singer Guru Randhawa has issued a resolute response to critics targeting his latest song, ‘Fine Shyt’, by invoking the Finnish concept of Sisu. In a defiant social media post, Randhawa emphasized resilience, courage, and inner strength, declaring he is operating in his “own lane” and viewing the situation as “One vs All.” This statement comes days after the August 6 release of the ‘Fine Shyt’ music video, which features Yashvi Desai and several prominent internet personalities.
Randhawa’s social media declaration challenged his detractors to devise a new strategy, asserting that their current approach has been ineffective. He explicitly referenced Sisu, the Finnish concept embodying inner strength, resilience, courage, and determination in the face of adversity. His post read, “SISU MINDSET AND MOVES….!!! Also tell all of them to make some new strategy against me…….this one didnt work!! In my own lane….One vs All… Rare Like PAGANI 2025 was 2026 is and rest of the years are mine!!! Finest Shytttt.”
Beyond the controversy surrounding ‘Fine Shyt’, Randhawa had previously discussed his track ‘SIX’ in July, detailing his creative process of fusing hip-hop with Punjabi music. He explained, “I’ve always loved hip-hop culture, but I wanted to blend it authentically with our native Punjabi vibe. ‘SIX’ is about hitting it out of the park. It’s about the grind, the focus, and the mindset it takes to stay at the top.”
He also expressed satisfaction about reuniting with Kiran Bajwa for ‘SIX’, highlighting their established musical synergy. “Having Kiran Bajwa back on a track with me made this sonic shift feel natural. We’ve built a specific musical trust, and this track represents the next step in our collaborative journey,” Randhawa stated. The duo has a history of successful collaborations, including chart-topping hits like ‘Sirra’ from the album ‘Without Prejudice’ and the popular single ‘SHKINI’, solidifying their reputation in the Entertainment industry.
