The Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted on two consecutive days, July 17 and July 18, 2026. This extensive Computer-Based Test (CBT) was administered across 224 cities, utilizing 352 examination centers throughout the country. Challenging the CSIR-NET answer key is a streamlined process. Candidates must navigate to the official CSIR-NET website and locate the option labeled “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key.” Upon selection, they will be prompted to log in using their unique application number and password, followed by entering a captcha for security verification. Once successfully logged in, candidates can access their individual recorded responses by clicking on “View Question Paper.” To review the provisional answer key, they must select “Click to view / Challenge Answer Key.” When identifying a question to challenge, candidates need to use its specific Question ID. They can then select the particular option(s) they wish to dispute. Crucially, any supporting documentation that validates the challenge must be uploaded as a single PDF file, with a maximum size limit of 500 KB. The final results of the examination will then be prepared using this updated, revised answer key. These include the ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026 examinations, with their provisional keys also set to be released on August 16, 2026. Candidates who appeared for these agricultural examinations are advised to monitor the designated NTA agricultural examinations portal for access to their provisional keys, recorded responses, and information regarding the challenge facility. The ICAR AIEEA (PG) examination was conducted in CBT mode on July 4, 2026. This particular paper consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions, totaling 480 marks. Each correct response garnered four marks, while an incorrect response resulted in a deduction of one mark.
