The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is gearing up for the upcoming recruitment examination for the position of Polytechnic Lecturer. With the written test scheduled for September 6, 2026, aspirants are eagerly awaiting the release of their hall tickets.

According to official updates, the UPPSC Polytechnic Lecturer admit card is expected to be released by the commission in late August or the first week of September 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 513 vacancies across various technical and non-technical disciplines within the state’s polytechnic institutions.

Exam Schedule and Pattern

The written examination will be held in two shifts on September 6, 2026. The structure of the exam is as follows:

  • Paper 1: Scheduled from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, covering General Hindi and the candidate’s relevant engineering or subject discipline.
  • Paper 2: Scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, focusing on General Studies and the core subject matter.

The total weightage for the written examination is 750 marks, consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. Candidates who successfully qualify in the written stage will then be invited for an interview, which carries an additional 100 marks, followed by a mandatory document verification process.

How to Download Your Admit Card

Once the link is activated on the official UPPSC website, candidates can follow these steps to retrieve their documents:

  1. Navigate to the official UPPSC portal.
  2. Click on the admit card download link.
  3. Enter your registration number, date of birth, and gender.
  4. Input the displayed verification code and submit.
  5. Download and print the admit card for future reference.

Candidates are advised to thoroughly verify their details—including their roll number, examination center, category, and subject/branch code—immediately after downloading the card.

Essential Guidelines for Exam Day

On the day of the examination, all candidates must present a printed copy of their admit card. Additionally, you must carry:

  • An original, valid photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving Licence).
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs.

This recruitment cycle, which saw applications submitted between December 2025 and January 2026, offers lucrative compensation for successful applicants, with a minimum entry pay ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 57,700, depending on the specific pay level and qualification criteria. Candidates are encouraged to keep a close watch on the official website for further announcements regarding the examination.
