Yash’s ‘Toxic’ Storms Box Office with ₹140.75 Crore Global Debut

The Indian film industry has witnessed another monumental box office event as superstar Yash’s latest action-thriller, Toxic, roared into theaters, raking in a staggering ₹140.75 crore in worldwide gross collections on its opening day.

According to data from the box office tracker Sacnilk, the film’s arrival was nothing short of a cinematic event. Across India, Toxic was screened in a massive 24,579 shows, accumulating a domestic net collection of ₹101.10 crore and a gross domestic total of ₹120.75 crore. Other regional contributions were equally robust, with Kannada bringing in ₹23.30 crore, Telugu at ₹16 crore, Tamil at ₹5.50 crore, and Malayalam at ₹1.30 crore.

The film’s performance has reshuffled the record books, cementing its place among the elite. By crossing the ₹100 crore net mark on its first day, Toxic has officially entered the exclusive “₹100 Crore Club.” It currently holds the sixth position for the biggest opening days in the history of Indian cinema, notably pushing the sci-fi spectacle Kalki 2898 AD down in the rankings. Furthermore, it stands as the second-biggest opening of 2026, second only to Dhurandhar 2.
