TVS Motor Company Appoints Auto Industry Veteran Peyman Kargar as CEO

BENGALURU – In a significant leadership transition, Indian automotive giant TVS Motor Company announced on Friday the appointment of Peyman Kargar as its new Chief Executive Officer.

The move marks a major strategic shift for the Chennai-based manufacturer, with Kargar slated to officially step into the role on January 27, 2027.

Kargar, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the global automotive sector, will succeed the company’s long-standing leader, K N Radhakrishnan. According to an official regulatory filing by the automaker, Radhakrishnan will remain at the helm, continuing to lead the company’s operations and strategic vision until the transition date in early 2027.
