ACCRA, Ghana — The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has put an end to months of speculation regarding the national team’s leadership, confirming on Tuesday that veteran Portuguese tactician Carlos Queiroz will remain at the helm of the Black Stars.

The 73-year-old coach, whose initial four-month contract expired shortly after the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has reached a fresh agreement with the GFA and the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
