Rashmirathi Parv: Celebrating Hindi Heritage

Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi announced a three-day event, the ‘Rashmirathi Parv,’ to begin on April 24. The festival celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Hindi poem Rashmirathi, by acclaimed poet Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’, focused on the Mahabharata character Karna.

According to Shahi, the event aims to convey India’s cultural heritage and values of nation-building to the younger generation through theatrical and poetic performances. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath seeks to inspire nationalism among the youth during this celebratory period.
