Lenovo has launched the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 in India, a large-screen Android tablet aimed at students, creators, and professionals who want something more capable than a midrange slab without paying flagship prices. It’s priced at Rs 39,999 and goes on sale May 1.

The tablet’s centrepiece is a 13-inch 3.5K PureSight Pro LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Under the hood sits the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage—enough to handle multitasking and creative workloads without obvious strain. Audio comes from quad JBL speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos.On the AI side, Lenovo has packed in AI Notes, Smart Reader, AI Creation Tools, and Live Transcript, alongside Circle to Search and Google Gemini. These aren’t headline-grabbing gimmicks so much as practical productivity nudges. The tablet ships with a Lenovo Tab Pen Plus in the box—4,096 pressure levels—so you don’t need to spend extra to start writing or sketching on day one.
