Drishyam is one of the super successful films in India, which was later remade into other regional and foreign languages. Now, the third part of the franchise is all set to make its way to theatres this weekend in Malayalam.
Earlier, Venkatesh remade the film into Telugu, but this time, he is likely to step away, and the dubbed version of the Malayalam film will release in Telugu. On the other hand, there is a Hindi version of Drishyam 3, which is likely to differ from the original.
While Mohanlal and Meena played the leads in the original, the Hindi version had Ajay Devgn and Sriya Saran in the leads. The makers made enough changes to the second part in the franchise for the Hindi audiences which worked to an extent.
Now, with the same confidence, the team plans to make changes to the third part as well. Speaking in an interview, the film’s producers issued a clarity over the same.
The makers of the Hindi version claimed that they are planning to do more changes to the story. According to them, the third part in the original is more of a family drama and they wanted the Hindi version to differ from the same.
Based on the tastes of the Hindi audiences, the makers want to drift slightly and make it a different screenplay.
Moreover, they are also planning to release the film on October 2nd, on which the earlier parts were also released, symbolically declaring it as a Drishyam day.
