The collision has occurred on the A419 Cainscross Road between A4171 Paganhill Lane and Downfield Road.
This was first reported to the AA Traffic Maps at around 10.20am, with traffic, at the time of writing (11.45am), still very slow along the key route.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “Police are at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on the A419 Cainscross Road in Stroud.
“We were called shortly after 11am with a report of a collision involving three vehicles.
“The occupants of the vehicles are not believed to have sustained any injuries.
“Cainscross Road is currently blocked whilst emergency services remain at the scene.”
