Prayagraj: The Allahabad high court marked its 160th establishment day by announcing that non-AFR final judgments and orders from both Allahabad and Lucknow benches will be translated into Hindi and uploaded on the court’s website, effective Mar 17, 2026. This move aims to increase accessibility and transparency, making judicial decisions more understandable for the general public, especially in a linguistically diverse state like Uttar Pradesh.The Allahabad HC was established on March 17, 1866.The translation project is being carried out by SUVAS Cell, Allahabad and Lucknow under the patronage of Chief Justice and guidance of AI assisted legal translation advisory, e-AHCR and ILR committee.
