Boot Barn opening in Loyalsock | Local Business News

Loyalsock Township, Pa. — A Boot Barn store will be opening at the TJ Maxx Plaza.

Bill Burdett, manager for Loyalsock Township, confirmed Wednesday that the Western wear chain will go into the former JoAnn space in the plaza on East Third Street.

JoAnn closed in January 2025. A grocer was interested in moving into the 10,400-square foot space but that fell through. Realty group Zamias Services announced in February that the space has been leased to Boot Barn.

No word yet on when Boot Barn will open. In other plaza news, Books-A-Million (BAM) began renovating the former Party City space last month with plans to open this spring. A BAM store had been at the former Lycoming Mall and closed its doors in August 2023. The opening of BAM and Boot Barn means both large vacant spaces at the plaza will now be filled.
