Vehicle rolls over girl, four, in Eastham car park


Emergency services were called to the car park on Saturday afternoon

A young girl has been taken to hospital after a vehicle rolled over her in a car park in Eastham. Merseyside Police were called to the Mimosa Tea Garden on Green Lane in Eastham around 3.50pm today (Saturday, June 20) after an unattended vehicle rolled over a four-year-old girl in the car park of the tea room.

Emergency services attended and the child was taken to hospital to be assessed, police said. The owner of the vehicle remained at the scene and is helping police with their enquires. An investigation is underway, and police are now appealing for anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them.
