Odia fim ‘Aafaa’ has been declared tax free by the state government to encourage more organ donation, officials said.Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday approved a proposal in this regard, they said.Directed by Pritiraj Satpathy, ‘Aafaa’ was declared tax free for its social message on organ donation and its potential to create awareness, particularly among the youth, according to a release issued by the CMO.The film tells the story of a 16-year-old girl battling a prolonged illness, who chooses to donate her organs.“It highlights courage, compassion and humanity, and is expected to inspire people while promoting awareness about organ donation,” the release said.
