Prabhat Goswami being honored in Deeg Monday
Jaipur: Satirist Prabhat Goswami was conferred the Saroj Kumari Kedarnath Maheshwari Hindi Bhasha Vyang Award by the Shri Hindi Pustakalaya Samiti, Deeg Monday in recognition of his contribution to Hindi satire. He was felicitated with a shawl, a citation and a cash award of Rs 11,000.Former Bihar chief secretary Amrit Lal Meena attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Dr Kaushal Kishore presided over the function, while Deeg superintendent of police Kamble Sharan Gopinath and Rajasthan Braj Bhasha Academy secretary Lata Shrimali were the guests of honour.The awards were presented during a function organised as part of the literary institution’s centenary celebrations.
