The Indian Embassy in Ukraine, on Wednesday (Jul 29), said that it was closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with all concerned to ensure the safety of Indian seafarers onboard MV AMIR1.
In a post on X, the embassy said that the security of the Indian nationals was its “highest priority”.

“A situation regarding MV AMIR1 with Indian seafarers onboard has been brought to our attention. We attach the highest priority to this and are in constant touch with all concerned to ensure safety and security of all Indians onboard,” the Embassy of India in Ukraine said.
Assam flood toll rises to 75
The death toll in the Assam floods has climbed to 75, with seven more fatalities reported from Sivasagar district alone on Tuesday — all due to drowning.
