The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted Class 12 Hindi paper today, March 16. The CBSE 12th Hindi paper was held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The students who had appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Hindi exam analysed the paper as “easy and balanced”.
According to Garima Arya, HoD- Hindi, Silverline Prestige School, “The Class 12 Hindi Board Examination paper was overall well-structured, balanced, and aligned with the prescribed syllabus and examination pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education. The question paper was easy and appropriate, maintaining a balanced level of difficulty. The questions were clear, direct, and concept-based, enabling students to demonstrate their understanding of the subject effectively.
The paper did not contain any particularly tricky or ambiguous questions. Most questions were straightforward and in accordance with the competencies expected at the senior secondary level. The structure of the paper provided adequate scope to assess comprehension, interpretation, and written expression. Although the difficulty level of the paper was moderate, the overall paper appeared slightly lengthy, requiring careful time management. The distribution of questions across sections demanded sustained attention and structured responses.
The unseen poem section required deeper interpretation and analytical reading. Compared to other sections of the paper, this portion demanded greater attention to meaning and context in order to respond appropriately. Overall, the Class 12 Hindi Board Examination paper was appropriate, well-balanced, and aligned with curricular objectives. It effectively assessed students’ comprehension, analytical abilities, and writing skills while maintaining clarity and academic rigor expected at the board examination level.”
CBSE 12th exam cancelled in Middle East
CBSE has cancelled all remaining Class 12 board examinations in several West Asian countries due to the ongoing Iran–US–Israel conflict. The decision affects students in over 150 CBSE-affiliated schools across Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
CBSE also clarified that even papers previously postponed will now stand cancelled. Examinations scheduled from March 16 to April 10, 2026, will no longer be conducted. The board said it will notify students later about the mode of result declaration for those affected.
