Announced as a multilingual OTT release, the controversial Hindi film The Taj Story initially premiered only in Hindi. It is available on Lionsgate Play, which can be accessed via Amazon Prime Video.
Directed by Tushar Amrish Goel, the courtroom drama starring Paresh Rawal is now streaming in Telugu and Tamil as well, making it accessible to a wider audience.
The film drew attention during its theatrical release for addressing the “Tejo Mahalaya” theory, which claims that the Taj Mahal was originally a Hindu temple. Despite the controversy, it had a modest run in theatres.
The cast also includes Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Namit Das, and Sneha Wagh in key roles. The film is produced by CA Suresh Jha.
