Inside the $350,000 Gift Bag for 2026 Oscar Nominees

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – A long-standing tradition continues to color the Academy Awards as the “Everybody Wins” gift bags are presented to 25 nominees across the acting and directing categories. This year’s haul is no small feat, boasting an array of luxury products with a total valuation of $350,000, or nearly Rp6 billion.

Lash Fary, Founder and President of Distinctive Assets—a Los Angeles-based entertainment marketing company—has pioneered this tradition for 24 years. However, Fary explained in a statement that the ‘Everybody Wins’ bags are produced and curated independently.

He emphasized that there is no affiliation with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the organizers of the Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Fary mentioned several recipients, including Timothee Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Hudson, Jacob Elordi, and Emma Stone. Additionally, Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Elle Fanning, Teyana Taylor, Delroy Lindo, and Josh Safdie also received the bags.

The Purpose of the ‘Everybody Wins’ Gift Bags

Lash Fary expressed a ‘simple’ purpose for giving the bags to the 25 nominees in 2026. The goal is to make nominees feel appreciated and provide a global spotlight for emerging brands.

“We are acknowledging these amazing nominees while elevating and showcasing small businesses, minority-owned brands, female entrepreneurs and companies that give back at a time when everyone can use a little more fun and frivolity,” said Fary.

Fary revealed that while they do not always receive direct feedback, digital footprints on social media provide necessary information. “Whenever they take a trip and post pictures, or they go in and get the waitlisted Sculpt and Lift facial at Rescue Spa — which one of the nominees already does — that’s the best feedback of all,” he said as reported by Reuters.

Rescue Spa founder Danuta Mieloch stated that participating in the Oscar gift bags is more than a marketing opportunity. She considered the exposure worth the investment.

“I feel like it positions us ‌in a better place. And it aligns with our philosophy. To be nominated requires diligence, a lot of work and excellence — and I feel like my products are aligned with that,” expressed Mieloch.
