I’ve fought for nature my whole life, but it’s time to admit the environment movement is asleep at the wheel

Too often, the nature sector is paralysed by politeness, terrified of being seen as ‘difficult’. But with the government reportedly primed to bring forward sweeping deregulatory reforms under the banner of nuclear expansion, our movement needs to find some grit before its too late, writes campaigner and TV presenter Chris Packham.
