The national Land-Based and Environment Learner (LBEL) Awards are now open for nominations.
In recognition of achievements in the lands-based and environmental sector, the awards are a partnership between Lantra and Landex.
First established in 2023, the awards programme recognises learners from further education, higher education and apprentices from across England and Northern Ireland.
Winners will be awarded on 3 December 2026 at the National Conference Centre in Solihull.
Nick Juba, chief executive of Lantra comments:
“The LBEL Awards recognise the dedication, achievement, and potential of those shaping the future of the land-based and environmental industries. We encourage colleges, universities, training providers and employers to put forward their exceptional learners, whether students or apprentices, across all categories. Their nominations help us celebrate and champion the very best emerging talent within our sector.”
Alex Payne, chief executive of Landex also comments:
“I strongly encourage colleges, universities and training providers to nominate their outstanding students for the fourth Land Based and Environment Learner of the Year Awards.”
Deadline for entries will be 22 May 2026 and can be submitted here.
