London foodies set to go wild for world-first Guinness menu takeover this St Patrick’s Day

A world-first Guinness food hall has landed in Leicester Square, from duck spice bags to Guinness crumble, London’s getting the ultimate St Patrick’s Day feast

London is going full Irish this St Patrick’s Day with the launch of the world’s first Guinness food hall in Leicester Square.

The Market Place Food Hall is serving up a limited-edition “Guinness Grub” menu from March 16-20, and it’s packed with black-stout-infused treats for every foodie. Highlights include the Duck Shed Guinness Duck Spice Bag – crispy breaded duck, chips, onions and peppers tossed in chilli and five-spice seasoning with a rich Guinness curry sauce.

Mister Lasagna’s Guinness Genovese Lasagna features beef marinated in Guinness, with a ragu made from the iconic stout. Burger fans can tuck into the Don Paddy Guinness Burger topped with caramelised Guinness onions, raclette cheese and Guinness sauce. Even fries get the stout treatment with Guinness “animal style” fries.

Sweet tooths aren’t left out either. There’s a hot Guinness compote crumble with custard, gooey Guinness cookies, Guinness coffee, and even Guinness soft serve.

Holly Hilton, Marketing Director at Market Place, said: “Leicester Square is the perfect setting for a celebration of this scale. Our collaboration with Guinness brings together great drinks, incredible street food and an unbeatable atmosphere.

“We are proud to create a space that is truly inclusive, welcoming families, friends and even four-legged guests to come together and celebrate.”

Whether you’re stopping by for after-work drinks, a casual bite, or a full St Patrick’s Day blowout, Market Place Leicester Square promises a lively, immersive experience with Guinness on tap, exclusive dishes, and unbeatable vibes in the heart of London’s West End.

From duck spice bags to soft serve, this one-week-only menu is a feast for any Guinness fan – and a must for anyone looking to celebrate St Paddy’s in style.
