Man dies at Huyton train station


A man has died at Huyton train station. Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the station at around 10.30am today (Thursday, April 2) after a man was taken unwell.

Footage shared online showed a huge emergency service response in the area, including an air ambulance hovering above the station and paramedic cars parked outside the station by The Queens Arms pub. A spokesperson for BTP said, despite the best efforts of its officers and paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
