Vijay Varma is all geared up for the release of his upcoming web series, ‘Matka King’. The show deals with gambling in India. Ahead of its premiere on a streaming platform, the makers unveiled the trailer for the series, helmed by acclaimed director Nagraj Ganpatrao Manjule.
‘Matka King’ trailer is out
The trailer showcases Brij Bhatti’s rise from a laborer to Matka King. However, his journey involves several ups and downs and, of course, the underworld. In the 2:25 second glimpse, Vijay’s character says, “Isko jua satta nahi bolenge aaj se. Aaj se iska naam, ‘Matka’.” Sai Tamhankar plays the wife of Vijay’s character, while Kritika Kamra plays his mistress. Watch the trailer here.

The show is set in the 1960s of Mumbai (then Bombay) and revolves around a trader who starts a new gambling system.
