The A44 was closed near Cotheridge for several hours yesterday afternoon (Friday, April 3) following a crash between a Suzuki motorcycle and a Renault van at around 2.30pm.
Drivers who passed the incident shortly after the crash attempted to help the motorcyclist, who was in his early 20s, until paramedics arrived.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the man died at the scene.

Officers are now searching for anyone who saw may be able to help establish what happened.
PC Christopher Waylen said “ Our thoughts are with the family of the young man, who died yesterday.
“We would urge anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw either vehicle the motorbike which was travelling towards Worcester, or the van which was travelling towards Bromyard prior to the collision to please get in touch.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dashcam or other footage which may support our investigation.
