A woman is “seriously” injured after she fell from a car park at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, March 31. Merseyside Police were called to the hospital on Prescot Road in West Derby at around 1.15pm following reports a woman had fallen from a car park.
The woman sustained serious injuries and is being assessed, the force said. People reported a large police presence in the area, while emergency services responded to the incident. A spokesperson for Alder Hey said this is an ongoing incident.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said in a statement: “We can confirm that officers are at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital after an incident today, Tuesday 31 March.
“At around 1.15pm, officers were called to Alder Hey Hospital to reports of a woman falling from a car park at the location. She sustained serious injuries and is being assessed.
“We thank people for their patience and understanding while we deal with this incident.”
