Fareham Borough Council has published the latest edition of Fareham’s Greener Future, reflecting work completed since the first publication in March 2024.
The report details actions taken to reduce carbon emissions, support wildlife, lower energy costs for tenants, and educate the wider community on environmental issues.

Councillor Malcolm Daniells, councillor responsible for planning and development, said: “Improving our environment is something that Fareham Borough Council takes very seriously, and I am proud of what we have been able to achieve over the last two years.
“The updated Fareham’s Greener Future publication sets out a full summary of all the recent environmental work undertaken by the council and I would encourage all residents and businesses within the borough to learn more about our key successes.”
The publication also addresses changes to project timelines in response to local government reorganisation and the expected transition to a unitary authority in April 2028.
