Reynolds dismisses claim that deregulation will make it harder to hit environmental targets

The environment secretary has dismissed a claim that “repeated drives for deregulating environmental protections” will make hitting the government’s environmental targets “harder”, arguing that the government is “trying to fix a system that hasn’t been working”.
