After a beautiful journey spanning over six years, Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has officially tied the knot with his long-time partner, South African model and designer Gabriella Demetriades. The couple opted for a low-key, intimate legal ceremony in Goa this past Friday.
A Quiet Legal Affair
The marriage registration took place at the Sub-Registrar’s office in Mapusa, North Goa, in the presence of a few close friends. The process was conducted under the state’s Uniform Civil Code, according to Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar.
Demonstrating their desire for privacy, the couple arrived at the office in casual attire around 4:00 PM. To expedite the process, the couple secured special permission from the Assistant Public Prosecutor to waive the standard 15-day waiting period typically required between the initial filing and the final signature. While the legal paperwork was completed on Friday, the official marriage certificate is expected to be issued in a fortnight.

The news of their nuptials comes shortly after the couple publicly confirmed their engagement during an appearance on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast. In the candid conversation, the couple reflected on their relationship dynamics. When prompted about their marital status, Rampal lightheartedly set the record straight, stating, "We are engaged," which came as a pleasant surprise to the host.
Discussing their bond, Demetriades shared insights into how their relationship has evolved, particularly since becoming parents. "Love comes with conditions," she remarked, contrasting romantic love with the unconditional bond shared with their children. Rampal added a playful touch, jokingly admitting he was initially drawn to her appearance before discovering a deeper connection.
