Nintendo Unveils New Switch 2 Hardware Bundles Featuring Mario Kart World and Sports Resort

Nintendo has officially revealed two new hardware bundles for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, offering fans a more cost-effective entry point into the next generation of gaming. These upcoming packages pair the new console with flagship software titles and extended connectivity perks.

Mario Kart World Bundle

The first package, the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle, is set to hit store shelves in late September. Priced at $549.99, the bundle includes the Switch 2 hardware, a digital download code for Mario Kart World, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. By opting for this bundle, consumers will see a total savings of $37.98 compared to purchasing each component separately.

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle

Following closely behind, the Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle is scheduled for release on October 22. This package will launch in tandem with the game itself at a price point of $529.99. Much like the Mario Kart offering, this set includes the console, the digital game, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription, providing a total savings of $27.98.

Pricing Adjustments

The announcement of these bundles coincides with a broader shift in Nintendo’s pricing strategy. As previously disclosed by the company, the suggested retail price for a standalone Switch 2 unit is set to increase to $499.99 starting September 1. These bundled packages are designed to provide added value for those looking to upgrade their hardware alongside some of Nintendo’s most anticipated upcoming titles.

With the release of these bundles, Nintendo is clearly aiming to bolster its ecosystem by encouraging new adopters to jump straight into their premium online and multiplayer experiences from day one.
