NTA Declares ICAR AIEEA PG and AICE-JRF/SRF Results 2026: How to Download Scorecards
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) for Postgraduate (PG) programs and the All India Competitive Examinations (AICE) for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) Ph.D. programs for the 2026-27 academic session.
The results, which were announced on August 29, 2026, mark a significant milestone for thousands of students aspiring to pursue advanced studies in agricultural sciences across India.
Examination Statistics
The entrance examination, conducted on July 4, 2026, saw a massive turnout across the country. The NTA organized the test at 162 examination centers spanning 115 cities.
Out of the 42,110 candidates who completed their registration, 38,720 appeared for the exams. The registration breakdown included 30,619 students for the ICAR-AIEEA (PG) and 11,491 for the ICAR-AICE (JRF/SRF). Gender-wise data indicated a high level of participation from both groups, with 21,533 female and 20,577 male candidates registered.
The category-wise distribution of registered candidates highlights the diverse demographic participation:
- General: 12,299
- Gen-EWS: 3,456
- OBC-NCL: 15,989
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 6,825
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 3,541
Additionally, 430 candidates with disabilities were registered for the examination process.
Transparent Evaluation Process
Before finalizing the results, the NTA maintained a rigorous review process. Provisional answer keys, along with candidates’ recorded responses and question papers, were hosted on the NTA website between August 16 and August 18, 2026. This window allowed students to raise challenges against the provisional keys. A panel of subject experts reviewed these objections, and the final results were processed based on the verified and corrected answer keys.
How to Check Your Scorecard
Candidates who appeared for the examinations can now access their results and download their scorecards. To retrieve your results, follow these steps:
- Visit the official ICAR examination website.
- Navigate to the results portal for the 2026-27 session.
- Log in using your unique registration credentials.
- Download and print your scorecard for future reference.
The NTA has clarified that the publication of results is subject to the verification of eligibility criteria, self-declarations, and other essential documentation, which will be conducted by the respective agricultural institutions during the final admission process.
