Police Appeal for Information Following Residential Burglary in Livingston

Detectives in West Lothian have launched an investigation after a significant quantity of jewellery was stolen during a break-in at a property in the Deans area of Livingston.

Authorities are calling for the public’s assistance as they work to track down those responsible for the incident, which occurred earlier this month. The burglary took place at a residential property on Middlewood Park on Wednesday, September 2.

According to police reports, investigators believe the perpetrator gained unauthorized entry to the home sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. during the daylight hours.

Detective Constable Michael Fairbanks of Police Scotland expressed the urgency of the investigation, noting that local intelligence is vital to solving the case.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to get in touch,” said DC Fairbanks. “I would also encourage people to check private CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage to see if something has been captured that could assist with our investigation.”
