Anker Unveils MindBase AI Hub and Expands Eufy Smart Security Ecosystem
Anker has officially entered a new frontier of home automation with the announcement of Anker MindBase, a sophisticated AI-driven home hub designed to act as the central nervous system for a modern smart home.
Designed for extensive compatibility, MindBase integrates seamlessly with nearly 100 existing Anker devices while maintaining full support for third-party hardware via the Matter smart home standard. The hub functions in tandem with Apple’s HomeKit, positioning itself as a high-performance bridge for users deeply entrenched in the Apple ecosystem.
Intelligence at the Edge
At the heart of the MindBase is the “AI Core” compute card, which powers the proprietary Anker TrueSmart AI Agent. Unlike cloud-reliant systems, this on-device intelligence evaluates environmental events in real time. By analyzing data locally, the hub can autonomously assess security risks and initiate tiered responses—ranging from automated lighting adjustments and verbal warnings to active deterrents.
Complementing this system is a new radar-equipped sensor capable of detecting individuals at the edge of a property from up to 15 meters away, providing a sophisticated layer of perimeter security that transcends traditional motion sensing.
A Powerhouse for Storage
Beyond its role as an automation hub, MindBase doubles as a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. With support for up to 48TB of local storage, it offers users a secure, private repository for sensitive files, photos, and high-definition security footage, eliminating the need for recurring cloud subscription fees.
Expanding the Eufy Security Lineup
Alongside the hub, Anker debuted several new security-focused hardware products under its Eufy brand:
- Eufy Video Doorbell S4: A professional-grade wired doorbell featuring a 9-megapixel sensor, 3K resolution, and an expansive 180-degree field of view.
- Eufy Window Camera E10: An innovative solution for apartment dwellers and renters, this camera mounts internally against a window. It features anti-glare optics and a 25-degree adjustable tilt, capturing footage in 2.5K resolution.
- Eufy Fall Detection Sensor: Prioritizing home safety, this non-wearable device utilizes mmWave radar to detect falls. It allows for wall-mounted installation and includes two-way communication features, removing the need for camera-based monitoring in private areas.
- Eufy NVR Security System E50: This robust system pairs an 8-channel Network Video Recorder with four hybrid bullet cameras. These units utilize dual-lens technology, combining a 2K wide-angle lens with a motorized 4K PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) lens for maximum coverage.
Pricing and Availability
The Eufy NVR Security System E50 is available now via the official Eufy website with prices starting at $999. The Video Doorbell S4 is slated for a late September release at $300, followed by the Window Camera E10, which will hit the market later this year for $70.
While the Eufy line is set for immediate rollout, Anker has yet to confirm official pricing or a specific release window for the flagship MindBase hub and the new Fall Detection Sensor.
