Planet Earth Needs Our Help is hosting the Environmental Information Exchange on Saturday, April 11, from 11am to 1pm at the Poole Environmental Wellbeing Hub, located at Parkstone United Reformed Church on Commercial Road.
The event is designed to unite residents, schools, community groups, churches, and councillors to discuss environmental and wellbeing issues in an open and supportive environment.

Marylyn Cropley said: “At a time when the world is rapidly changing, and the seriousness of environmental problems can sometimes appear overwhelming, it is helpful to have the mutual/emotional support of like-minded people in a friendly, informal setting.
“This event will feature presentations by some local organisations that can help us to understand the issues, and some of the solutions.
“With an opportunity to chat afterwards, we hope that this will be particularly useful to families, teachers, local community volunteers and decision-makers.”
The inaugural event will include talks from Sustainable Dorset, Dorset Wildlife Trust, Tailoresque, and Repair Cafe.
Planet Earth Needs Our Help is partnering with the church, Poole Community Exchange, East Dorset Friends of the Earth, and Sustainable Dorset to deliver the event.
