The Chipolo x Secrid Miniwallet combines stylish design with tracking technology and sustainability, available for pre-order in the US and UK.
Chipolo, known for its Bluetooth tracking devices, has collaborated with Secrid, a wallet manufacturer, to launch a new product: the Chipolo x Secrid Miniwallet Trackable. This innovative wallet not only functions as a stylish accessory but also offers tracking capabilities through your mobile device, seamlessly blending convenience with sophistication. One of the standout features of the Miniwallet is its commitment to sustainability. It is locally produced in Europe and crafted from responsibly sourced materials, comprising at least 50% recycled plastic for the tracking card and ethically sourced leather for the wallet itself. The dimensions of the wallet measure 21 mm x 65 mm x 102 mm (0.8 in x 2.6 in x 4.0 in), making it compact enough to carry comfortably while accommodating essential cash and up to nine cards. The patented design allows cards to slide out from the top easily, enhancing user experience. The marketing message for the product states, “Born from a shared belief in thoughtful design and local production, Chipolo and Secrid made this wallet to improve your everyday life.” The Chipolo embedded tracker allows users to locate their Miniwallet via the Chipolo app, which is compatible with both Apple and Google device tracking apps. This feature adds an extra layer of convenience, enabling the wallet to produce a sound of up to 110 decibels to assist in locating lost items. There is also a reverse tracking function; pressing a button on the wallet activates a sound on the connected smartphone, useful if the phone is misplaced. Battery life for the tracker is approximately a year based on usage, with recharging possible through any Qi-compatible wireless charger. The Miniwallet Trackable is set to retail for $140 in the United States and £120 in the United Kingdom, with pre-orders currently available on both Amazon and the Chipolo website. Customers can choose between two colour options: black and blue. For those who prefer only the Chipolo Card without the wallet, it is available separately for $38.99 or £38.99. This product launch coincides with TechRadar’s Sustainability Week, aimed at promoting environmentally mindful technology choices as we approach Earth Day 2026. The partnership between Chipolo and Secrid represents a growing trend of integrating technology with eco-friendly designs, catering to consumers who value both functionality and sustainability in their everyday items.
