Singer and composer Parleen Gill is receiving praise for his latest romantic track Shehzadi, a modern love song blending cinematic visuals with emotional music. The former Indian Idol Season 3 contestant shared that the track celebrates strong and confident women. Explaining the idea behind the song, Parleen said, “Shehzadi is about admiring someone who is powerful, beautiful, confident, and unforgettable. Personally, I feel every woman is a Shehzadi in her own way — my wife Blondelle definitely is.” Talking about the importance of original music, he said, “I create whenever inspiration occurs to me. Original music is extremely important today because that’s what helps people connect with your real identity and sound as an artist.”Parleen also revealed that much of his creative process happens alongside his wife, Blondelle, who is a music producer and mix-master engineer. “Since we work from our home studio, the process becomes very organic. Even if inspiration comes at 2 AM, we instantly start working on it,” he shared. Speaking about the response to the song, he added, “The response has honestly been amazing. People are connecting with the vibe, lyrics, visuals, and especially the fresh sound of the song.” On composing for today’s listeners, Parleen said, “Today’s audience wants originality and sounds they haven’t heard before. A lot of credit for that goes to my wife because she has incredible knowledge of global sounds, genres, instruments, and production styles.” He concluded with a smile, saying, “I just love creating music with my wife. Just like men have man caves, she has her own space called the ‘Gill Cave,’ and that’s where a lot of our music happens.”
