A SOCIAL club in Port Glasgow has suffered a ‘heart-breaking’ break-in for the second time in the space of two weeks.
The Upper Port Glasgow Social Club was targeted in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It comes after the venue was broken into at around 4am on March 3.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the club said: “It’s heart-breaking to be targeted again.
“Our community, members and staff pulled together to make sure we can still celebrate all the amazing mum at our special Mother’s Day lunch.”

They added: “More than ever, we need your support – especially at next month’s fundraiser.
“We truly appreciate your continued support during a difficult time.
“Please keep an eye out for our football cards and upcoming fundraiser as we work to recover.
“Thank you all again for standing by us.”
The Telegraph has contacted Police Scotland for comment.
