ORRVILLE, OHIO — The J.M. Smucker Co. is stripping down its formula with the launch of Jif Simply peanut butter spread.
The product line’s first variety is unsweetened creamy, which is formulated with peanuts, salt and palm oil. Each serving features 8 grams of plant-based protein.

The peanut butter is available at Walmart with a larger retail expansion expected to follow, according to the company.
