The Hindi feature film Brilliant Idea was released in the United States on Friday, May 29, 2026, through the AMC Theatre chain, the world’s largest movie theatre chain. The film was released simultaneously in several states across the U.S., including New Jersey, Indiana, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. The audience response has been overwhelming.
In New Jersey, the film witnessed House Full shows over the opening weekend at AMC New Brunswick 18. Even more remarkable was the House Full weekday matinee show at 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Such an achievement is rare in the film industry, as most people are usually at work during weekday afternoons.
