A strong economy in the Dayton region doesn’t happen by accident. It requires private sector businesses to invest, leaders to collaborate, and organizations committed to building the conditions that allow our community to flourish.
The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce was founded by the private business leaders of Dayton over a century ago, and it is the private business leaders of the region today that remain at the heart, and the helm, of everything the chamber champions. As longtime volunteer leadership for the Dayton Area Chamber, we witness the important work the chamber leads to advance our region, and it is why we’ve remained committed supporters.
Since its founding, the chamber has served as a trusted voice for business. In our time serving with the chamber we’ve experienced first-hand how the organization and its team members work to earn that trust earned through consistency, discipline and a clear focus on the needs of members.
Today, the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce remains a strong and healthy advocate because it operates with the same expectations we often ask of businesses: Be efficient, accountable, financially responsible and deliver clear value.
The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce executes a strategic direction focused on supporting business growth in the 14-county region, respecting the time businesses invest in the organization and serving as an advocate for the private sector.
That philosophy has produced results. The Dayton Area Chamber has earned the highest ranking: The Five-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, placing it among the top 3% of chambers nationwide.
That recognition is for more than just strong performance, it reflects sound operations, best practices, strategic focus and responsible management of member resources.
The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is strong because its mission is clear – working shoulder-to-shoulder with private businesses to help them succeed. Its operations are sound and its work is strategic to support Dayton area businesses.
We’re honored to count ourselves amongst the thousands of Dayton Area Chamber members and 200,000 business leaders who are working each day to ensure our community is thriving.
