A woman has been charged after four men were stabbed in Covent Garden.

Stella Gollovena, 47, is charged with four counts of GBH with intent and one of possessing an offensive weapon over the incident on Endell Street yesterday afternoon.

She has been remanded in custody and is due at Highbury Magistrates’ Court later today.

In an update, the Met said all four victims, aged 34, 39, 42, and 56, suffered injuries that are neither life-threatening nor life-changing and have now been discharged from hospital.

A barber who works in the busy tourist area told Metro he intervened in the attack after one of the wounded victims staggered into his shop.

The witness, who asked not to be named, said: ‘I work in the barbers and a man came in with a stab in the back.

‘We helped him with a tissue on the wound. Then the woman came down the road, so I ran out of the shop and grabbed her. Then another lady helped and the police came.’

Another barber at the 2 Chairs Grooming Room said: ‘He had a back injury, we helped him and did our best. The injury didn’t look that serious but he was in shock. The woman came down the road after. Before a man ran over to stop her, he was a real hero.’
