Upcoming film ‘Dhoomakethu’s poster got much attention soon after its release yesterday. The poster featured Sajin Gopu and Nikhila Vimal trapped beneath the water’s surface, surrounded by mysterious masked figures.Many users speculated that the artwork was created using artificial intelligence. Putting those assumptions to rest, cinematographer Shaiju Khalid has now shared a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot.

Shaiju posted the making video on Instagram, revealing how the underwater sequence featuring Nikhila Vimal was filmed.Many social media users were surprised after watching the clip. Among the comments were, “Wow… So it wasn’t an AI poster after all!” and “Did the camera jump into the water too?”

Sudhi Maddison directs the upcoming film
‘Dhoomakethu’ is directed by Sudhi Maddison, who previously helmed ‘Neymar’. The film completed principal photography in February and is now moving through its post-production phase.The project features Sajin Gopu alongside Nikhila Vimal in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, Manju Pillai, Niyas Backer, and Siddharth Bharathan. Vivek Harshan is handling the editing, while Ankit Menon composed the film’s music. On the other hand, Nikhila Vimal’s previous film was ‘Pennu Case,’ which received mixed reviews from audiences despite good hype. ETimes reviewed the film by writing, “Pennu Case is a missed opportunity. An interesting idea is let down by poor writing, weak performances and flawed technical execution. An underwhelming watch that struggles to rise above its shortcomings.”Meanwhile, Sajin Gopu’s previous film was ‘Oru Durooha Sahacharyathil,’ which starred Kunchacko Boban in the lead.
