Donald Trump shows up with fuller head of hair. Internet goes wild with memefest

While US President Donald Trump’s words are often enough to set social media abuzz, the past week was different, as a public appearance featuring his noticeably fuller head of hair quickly became the unexpected subject of online speculation and a hilarious meme fest.

He was seen wearing the seemingly new hairstyle during his speech at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas on Wednesday, August. During the speech, Trump lauded his administration’s economic policy and also threw his weight behind Republican candidates ahead of November’s midterm polls.

The US President also derided neighbouring Canada over the issue of tariffs. However, more than his remarks, it was his appearance that went viral following the event in Las Vegas.

The seemingly greater density of hair on his head quickly sparked speculation on social media that Trump was wearing a wig. One X user asked, “Is Trump rocking a wig, or what the hell is going on here?”

“There is no freaken way that this is Trump’s real hair. NO WAY! (sic)” wrote political commentator Brian Krassenstein.

Others couldn’t help but feel impressed with the President’s fuller head of hair. “I do NOT care what anyone says. This is proof that President Trump is aging in reverse. His hair looks absolutely amazing today (sic),” a user commented on X.

A flurry of AI-generated edits also flooded X, reimagining Trump in some really bold hairstyles.

Trump’s distinctive hairstyle and signature orange-ish complexion have long been hallmarks of his public image. He has also acknowledged that his hair is a particularly sensitive subject.

In 2018, during his first term as President, he said that he always tries “like hell” to cover his “bald spot.” Later that same year, Trump’s official physician revealed that he was on medication meant to combat male-pattern baldness.
