Bentley driver fined for breaking temporary speed limit

Pravesh Randev, 58, of Hilton Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, was caught by an automatic camera device exceeding a temporary 40mph speed limit in a Bentley on the M6 at Clifton Bridge.

The offence took place on July 20, 2025.

The vehicle was found to be in breach of a traffic regulation order.

A court heard that Randev had pleaded guilty to the offence.

Appearing at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court on August 6, 2026, he was fined £165 and ordered to pay £250 in prosecution costs and a £66 victim surcharge.
