The winners of the UK Jewellery Awards 2026, in association with The Betts Group, were revealed at a glittering ceremony in London tonight (8 July).
Names including Wongs Jewellers, Swarovski, Berry’s Jewellers and Gary Williams were among those recognised on the night.
Now in its 34th year, the UK Jewellery Awards, organised by leading jewellery and watch industry title Retail Jeweller, is the UK’s longest-running and most prestigious trade awards event. Established in 1992, the awards celebrate the achievements of individuals and businesses across every area of the jewellery sector.
With 21 categories spanning design, ethical business practice, customer service, retailing and supplier excellence, the awards recognise the breadth and diversity of the UK jewellery industry.
Independent jeweller Wongs was one of the biggest winners on the night, taking home two awards for Bridal Jewellery Retailer of the Year and Jewellery Retailer of the Year (five stores or fewer). Meanwhile, Swarovski was named Fashion Jewellery Brand of the Year, and Berry’s Jewellers won Retailer of the Year (six stores or more).
Gary Williams, president of the National Association of Jewellers, received the evening’s highest honour, being presented with the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award in recognition of his contribution to the UK jewellery trade.
Speaking after the event, Ruth Faulkner, managing editor of Retail Jeweller, said: “Once again, the UK Jewellery Awards, in association with The Betts Group, proved to be THE night of the year for the UK jewellery trade, with 600 guests joining us for an unforgettable evening of celebration.
“As ever, the standard of entries this year has been nothing short of exceptional. Our rigorous and completely independent judging process – free from commercial influence and driven by a panel of expert judges – ensures that being shortlisted, let alone winning, is a true badge of honour.”
In addition to headline partner The Betts Group, category sponsors included CME Jewellery, D.Louise, Gisser, Hockley Mint, The Jewellery Show, Lightspeed, Osmium Institute, Single Mine Origin and TH March.
A host of sponsors also helped bring the event to life on the night. Guests were welcomed with a drinks reception sponsored by the Company of Master Jewellers, while JQV Gems sponsored candy floss, WOLF sponsored a claw machine, Olivia Burton sponsored the funfair and Bespoke Quarter sponsored the dessert station.
The UK Jewellery Awards also welcomed Metal & Rocks as this year’s official jewellery sponsor.
