The finalists for the WatchPro US Awards 2026, in association with headline sponsor eBay, have now been revealed. The winners will be unveiled at a prestigious black-tie gala on Wednesday, September 9.
Following an extensive nomination process, the WatchPro editorial team has shortlisted the standout brands, retailers and watch launches from across the American market, recognizing excellence in retail, innovation, customer experience and product development.
The shortlist features 10 finalists across each of the 25 award categories, spanning retail, brand and product awards. Winners in the Brand and Retail categories will be selected by an independent panel of industry judges, and announced on Wednesday, September 9 in New York’s sparkling Ziegfeld Ballroom.
This year’s programme introduces a number of new retail categories, reflecting the evolving US market and recognising excellence across every aspect of the trade. In addition to the 25 shortlisted awards, recipients of the Outstanding Contribution and Industry Tastemaker honours will also be announced on the night.
Now in its third year, the WatchPro US Awards have become one of the watch industry’s most prestigious annual events. The awards are proudly supported by headline sponsor eBay, alongside WOLF, Redd Retail Group, Grandeur and Citizen.
For many in the industry, the evening has become about much more than collecting trophies. “The WatchPro Awards are the highlight of the industry calendar and an evening not to be missed,” says Hing Wa Lee chairman and CEO David Lee. “They provide a unique opportunity to bring the watch community together under one roof, recognizing the excellence, passion and dedication of the people, brands and businesses driving our industry forward.”
REEDS Jewelers vice president of operations and strategy Genna Zimmer echoes that sentiment, describing the Awards as “a rare opportunity for retailers, brand leaders and industry partners to connect outside of our day-to-day business, strengthen relationships, exchange ideas and celebrate one another’s success,” while also recognizing “the American
executives, retailers, brands, and professionals whose leadership and hard work continue to propel the US watch industry forward”.
For The 1916 Company CEO John Schmerler, the event has become “an annual moment of unity in the US watch market,” adding that it is a night dedicated to celebrating achievement and recognizing excellence across the industry.
