The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) will celebrate actor-producer Dulquer Salmaan at its 2026 edition. He will attend the festival as one of its guests of honour. Supported by the Victorian Government, the festival will be held from August 13 to 23. Over the past decade, Dulquer has worked across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema.Dulquer shared, “It’s truly an honour to be recognised by the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, a festival that has consistently celebrated the diversity and excellence of Indian cinema on a global stage. I’ve always believed that stories have the power to travel beyond languages and borders, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see audiences across the world embrace our films with so much warmth. His performances in the Tamil film OK Kanmani, the Telugu biographical drama Mahanati and the romantic drama Sita Ramam were widely appreciated. In Hindi cinema, he has starred in films such as Karwaan and The Zoya Factor. Most recently, he received widespread appreciation for his performance in Kaantha.
