Rumours had been circulating around Raj and DK working on a superhero film that could drive films of the genre in a whole new direction in Bollywood. Salman Khan had also been linked to it for quite some time.
Although the project had only been greenlit until now. It had been hinted at and teased, but we finally have confirmation of Salman’s latest endeavour as a hero. Even the filmmakers are extremely excited.

Speaking in an interview, Raj Nidimoru talked about going back to the cinema with a major theatrical release in the works. For a long time now, Raj & DK have been working on OTT shows like The Family Man, Farzi, Citadel: Honey Bunny, and more. Their last films included hits like Stree.
So, to see the duo going back to the big screen will also bring a crowd in the mix. To top it all off, Salman Khan is also reportedly going to be a part of it.
“A Hollywood film script has just started, and it’s in the pre-production stage. Another series is in the development. Our Hindi movie almost starts its production.”

The fans are also more than excited to see what they have in store. Seeing Salman Khan as a superhero in a big-budget film would be a dream come true for many of his fans. The film is set to start filming in October 2026.

Salman’s upcoming film, Matrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, has been seeing multiple delays. As of now, reports suggest that the film will be released in August. Until then, he is also working on another project with Vamshi Papidally that is eyeing a release date for Eid 2027. Nayanthara is also said to be a part of it.
The actor has also been involved in a legal battle with the creators of Kala Hiran for a film that is inspired by his infamous case surrounding the poaching of black bucks. As of now, he is trying to make sure that neither promotional material nor the film gets released in theatres.
