The Arun to Adur Farmers Group is hosting a family-friendly event in Worthing this month.

The group is a very active, forward-thinking collection of dozens of farmers working to support the environment and promote sustainable farming.

NFU Regional Board Chair for the East of England Caroline Harriott, who is an Arun to Adur Farmers Group member, said: “We look forward to welcoming people to our event.

“It will be a fun day for all the family and a great opportunity to learn more about our work to feed the nation while supporting wildlife and the environment.

“Helping more people to understand about British food and farming is vital in helping us to work towards a brighter future for the industry.

“Farmers and growers here get fantastic support from the public and we want to thank everyone for supporting us.”

The event will be at Titch Hill Farm, Lambleys Lane, Worthing, BN14 9JX on Sunday, June 28 from 10am until 4pm.

It is being held as part of the Open Farm Sunday initiative, which sees farmers and growers across the country open their farm gates to the public.

Visitors can enjoy stunning views across the town, coastline, South Downs and surrounding vineyards.

There will be tractor and trailer rides, farm animals, impressive farm machinery on display and food and drink including burgers, ice cream, homemade cakes, teas, coffees and cold drinks.
