Mango strengthens its presence in India with a new flagship in Delhi

Madrid – Spanish fashion multinational Mango has significantly bolstered its retail presence in India, expanding its flagship store in Gurugram, a key financial and commercial hub south of Delhi. The renovated store now seamlessly integrates both Mango’s womenswear and menswear collections, offering a comprehensive shopping experience under a single roof. This expansion underscores Mango’s international growth strategy and its commitment to the Indian market.

The Gurugram store, operated in collaboration with Myntra, Mango’s franchise partner in India since 2014, has become one of the few locations in the country to house both the ‘Woman’ and ‘Man’ collections. Mango’s menswear category, which launched in India in early 2023, is steadily growing its commercial footprint, further elevating the status of this Gurugram flagship. Beyond its combined offerings, the store will also be among the first in India to feature Mango’s international capsule collections and other limited-edition items, distinguishing it within the brand’s network.

Venu Nair, director of strategic alliances and omnichannel at Myntra, highlighted the significance of the expansion. “The Delhi region is a key market for fashion, and the expansion here reflects the strong reception Mango has received from Indian customers,” Nair stated. He added that Myntra’s alliance with Mango, facilitated through Myntra Jabong India Private Limited (MJIPL), aims to bring globally appreciated fashion closer to Indian customers and support the brand’s continued growth. Myntra has been instrumental in executing Mango’s expansion plan in India, managing both physical and online channels under Mango’s supervision since 2017.

The expanded store, located within the Ambience Mall shopping centre, officially reopened on Friday, August 7, 2026. The grand opening celebration, marking a significant milestone in Mango’s consolidation within the Indian market, was hosted by Bollywood actors Dino Morea and Amyra Dastur.

With a new retail area spanning approximately 450 square metres, the flagship store not only strengthens Mango’s presence but also enhances its offerings within Ambience Mall. This move allows Mango to stand alongside other prominent international retailers in the complex, including Diesel, Levi’s, Gant, Victoria’s Secret, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Benetton, Sephora, Boss, Birkenstock, H&M, Uniqlo, and Zara. The expansion also sees the implementation of Mango’s ‘New Med’ store concept, which aims to evoke the atmosphere of a Mediterranean home, refreshing the brand’s image. The Gurugram store will introduce new services, such as a stylist, personal shopper, in-store alterations, and premium gift-wrapping, further enriching the customer experience.

Myntra emphasized that bringing both menswear and womenswear together in one location will establish the store as a key fashion destination for Gurugram customers seeking the latest trends. The company also noted that this expansion is a crucial step in Mango’s long-term strategy in India, driven by the increasing demand for contemporary European fashion in the Delhi region and Mango’s steadfast commitment to India as a strategic growth market.

In a recent financial update for the first half of its 2026 fiscal year, Mango reported a turnover increase to 1.85 billion euros, representing a 7.2 percent year-over-year growth. The company currently operates 2,960 stores across more than 120 countries, with France, Turkey, Germany, and the US leading its international markets by turnover. Mango is currently in the final stages of its 4E Strategic Plan for 2024 to 2026, which aims to achieve an annual turnover of approximately four billion euros by the end of 2026 and includes opening over 500 new stores during the three-year period. By the close of the first half of 2026, Mango had already added 260 net points-of-sale to its retail network, demonstrating its robust commercial ambitions.
